Navigating the Future of Logistics for Indian Automotive Industry
India’s automotive industry stands as a global manufacturing giant, with an annual production of 25.9 million vehicles in FY23, making it the largest tractor producer, second-largest bus manufacturer, and third-largest heavy truck manufacturer in the world. In addition to its robust domestic market, India is a major exporter, with close to 4.8 million vehicles shipped globally in FY23, including 3.6 million two-wheelers.
As the industry looks to the future, the Auto SCM Summit will focus on India’s growing role as a leader in the global automotive landscape. The event will be hosted in Pune, the country’s automotive manufacturing hub, and will bring together key stakeholders from across the automotive logistics value chain. This summit will also highlight the rapidly expanding electric vehicle (EV) market in India, projected to reach US$ 7.09 billion by 2025, with a US$ 206 billion opportunity by 2030.
This year’s summit will also focus on key trends driving the industry forward, including the transition to EVs, embracing generative AI, enhanced vehicle connectivity, collaborative supply-chain models, and the rise of reshoring/nearshoring.
Join industry experts and professionals at the Auto SCM Summit to explore the innovations and strategies that are driving India’s automotive sector towards becoming a global powerhouse, both in traditional vehicle production and the burgeoning EV market. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain insights and network with leaders shaping the future of automotive supply-chain management.
